LOL thanks for a few laughs. Definitely slanted but scores a few points, didn’t know that about the “Reaction to spouse’s political success” section.

  2. Interesting link.

Loved it when the Obama campaign targeted Palin for her inexperience. Sometimes I wonder about the Democratic strategists.

Yes, I agree. Not a smart move on their part. Drudge has as his lead story Obama defending himself and saying that he has more experience that Palin does.

It says a great deal about his campaign when he has to do things like that. Don’t you think?

Huh? When I listen to you Republicans, I have to shake my head. It was YOUR PARTY that made experience (or lack of it) an issue. Now you try to turn it back on Obama when he raises the same (justified) issue re the unknown Mayor of Alaska? You can’t have it both ways! Are you now ready to come out and say that McCain was wrong to make experience an issue???

Republican’s are happy to make and keep making experience an issue, mainly because McCain wins the issue, the fact that Obama is trying to say he is more experienced than McCain’s running mate only emphasises that truth. It only makes sense to turn something like this back on Obama as he so clearly isn’t one to point fingers on the issue. Does that really even need to be explained?

Talk about experience all you want, but it’s the Democrats with superior ideas at this point in the American political landscape. Regardless of the experience and inexperience appearing on the McCain/Palin ticket, the Republicans are both incompetent and impotent to deal with the problems of the 21st century. With a world in crisis, a changing climate, severe problems in U.S. health care, mortgage meltdown, faltering economy, and more, what are the Republicans worried about? Homosexual marriage, abortion, prayer in school, abstinence, and other nonsense that in a DEMOCRACY people should be left alone to decide for themselves.

Palin, in her awe-inspiring experience, thinks the Iraq debacle is a holy war where God’s work is being done, tried to have certain books banned from the library, and is involved in an effort to convert Jews to Christianity, an insensitive and chauvinistic endeavor called “Jews first”. People who exhaust their intellect and energy on these bronze age phobias, prejudices, and preoccupations have no future in a changing world, and are more than ill-equipped for the challenges of this century.

I’m afraid I have to agree with James on this one. Don’t you think we should be speaking out about the horrors of the Iraq war we are funding. I’m afraid for my soul over this issue. Any comments?

    Edward,

I don’t understand what you mean when you say you are “afraid for your soul”. Please explain a bit.

Knowing that I don’t have a clear understanding of your meaning, I will say this: If you are “truly afraid for your soul” then I have to assume that you are not a Christian. I can help you with that. The only way we can have any assurance about the destination/destiny of our soul is through Jesus Christ. He says “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Repent and trust in the Lord Jesus and He will save you. Your soul will be secure in Him. There is no other way to have this security. I can’t emphasize this enough. Get into a right relationship with Him and all else will be taken care of.

I urge you to do that NOW. Don’t delay because we are not guaranteed to have a tomorrow. For anyone else reading this who doesn’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, I make the same plea to you. Don’t wait.

If you have any questions on this I will be happy to answer them.

    Tom
